Mayne mail posts are designed for easy installation over a standard 4x4 wood post. Bury the post about 2-3 feet in the ground and leave 3.5 feet above the surface. Slide the decorative sleeve over the post, and then attach the arm and planter using the provided hardware. Secure your mailbox of choice to the arm, keeping in mind that a mounting plate or bracket is required when mounting the mailbox on the Westbrook Plus.
