It is mounted onto a premium 3-inch diameter in-ground post constructed of 19-Gauge galvanized steel and fully powder coated for added durability and corrosion resistance. The decorative post has an upper skirt to hide any unsightly mounting hardware, and the two-piece decorative post cover wraps around the bottom of the post, constructed of ABS with UV inhibitors to resist fading and discoloration. The Centennial Mailbox's larger inner compartment can accept a USPS priority mail large flat rate box 12 in. x 12 in. x 5.5 in. and still has room for additional mail and parcels. The heavy gauge galvanized steel body is equipped with stainless steel door pins, then fully powder coated for corrosion resistance with a sleek magnetic door closure. The cantilevered upper skirt covers any unsightly hardware from the mounting plate, and the ABS decorative post cover is UV stabilized for outdoor use, resisting fading and discoloration.
